Enjoy eco-friendly accommodations in our contemporary off-the-grid home in Abundance EcoVillage, Iowa’s first and foremost sustainable community. The Sweetwater Guesthouse incorporates green building design and technology, and is also built according to Maharishi Sthapatya Veda, which is a set of architectural principles from the ancient Vedic civilization of India that promote peace and wellbeing.
The Sweetwater Guesthouse has four bedrooms: The two upstairs bedrooms each have a queen size bed; the two downstairs bedrooms rooms each have a full size bed. Guests can book any of the rooms individually, or the entire house. All guests have access to all the common spaces including the fully equipped kitchen, living room, TV room and screen porch. Wireless internet provided.
Located just 2 miles north of the Fairfield square, the Sweetwater Guesthouse is powered by the sun and the wind, uses rainwater harvested onsite and other clean technologies. Our guesthouse not only provides quiet comfort for our visitors, but an educational experience in sustainable living as well. In addition, our guesthouse is something of a gallery with over 75 works of original art adorning the walls.
We look forward to welcoming you to our slice of Heaven on Earth.
